Facility
Four thousand square feet across three rooms: a casting floor, a print room kept deliberately separate from it, and a bench room where fettling and checking happen under daylight lamps.
Print resin and mold silicone do not belong in the same air. Uncured print resin is an inhibition risk to every platinum-cure block on the floor, so the printers live behind their own door with their own extraction, and masters are washed, cured and inspected before they cross into casting.
The bench room faces north. That is not an aesthetic decision — checking a cream-coloured part for pinholes under warm light is how pinholes get missed.
| Equipment | Count | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Pressure vessels, 15 litre | 2 | Standard kit-part cycle, 40–50 psi held through cure |
| Pressure vessel, 30 litre | 1 | Commissioned July 2026; takes larger single pours off the queue |
| Vacuum degassing chamber | 1 | Silicone de-air and high-viscosity fills |
| Resin printers | 3 | Separate room, separate extraction, wash and cure station |
| Fettling benches | 6 | Daylight lamps, extraction at each station |
| Mold rack | ~340 blocks | Each block labelled with client, part and pull count to date |
Most of the blocks on the rack belong to clients who release the same kit again eighteen months later. We store them at no charge for two years from the last pull, then write and ask whether you want them back or scrapped. We do not quietly bin molds, and we do not quietly keep them either.
Every block carries a card: what it came from, when it was cut, which resin it has been run with, and the pull count. When that count reaches the point where flash starts widening, the card gets a line through it and you get an email — usually before you were planning your next run, which is the point.
The office is staffed Thursdays, and that is the day to come if you want to hand over a master in person or look at a test pull under the same lamps we check under. It is a working floor rather than a showroom: closed shoes, and expect the extraction to be loud.
